Issue: Lines on models are called Lego blocks associated with high resolution DLP 3D printing on non vertical surfaces.
Using DLP technology, the B9 Core Series projects and entire layer at a time and achieves a finer level of resolution than laser-based systems. If you do not use the Smooth Surface Finish Selection prior to slicing, lines and/or swirls will appear on non vertical surfaces. Imagine building a curved edge using Lego blocks. The size of the blocks are 30 or 50 micron dependent on the printer model. These small lines are removed as part of the post casting polishing process.
Laser diameter typically 140+μm.
